An advanced method of single expression for computer modelling of nonuniform, active and nonlinear fiber Bragg gratings

For single-mode fiber Bragg gratings' a theoretical investigation through computer modelling a new non-traditional method of electrodynamics is suggested. The method of single expression (MSE) primarily developed for nonlinear media permits to solve successfully diverse boundary problems by direct numerical simulation. The method's brief description and its application for different types of linear and nonlinear, loss and active Bragg gratings' investigation are presented.
