Magnetic characteristics analysis of CSR of transformer type

A low voltage prototype of the controlled shunt reactor (CSR) of transformer type is developed and tested in order to study the magnetic characteristics of the CSR. The coupled magnetic circuit and electric circuit method is proposed to analyze the dynamic magnetic characteristics of the CSR. In this paper, the magnetic characteristics of the CSR are analyzed in frequency domain and time domain.
