A novel low power FGMOS-CCII based fully CMOS four quadrant multiplier

In this paper, a fully CMOS Four quadrant multiplier based on Floating Gate MOS-CCII+ is presented. The Floating Gate MOS based current conveyor has the lower power dissipation and lower operating voltage than the conventional one and also it gives improved bandwidth. The proposed multiplier is useful in many digital and analog applications. Furthermore, this multiplier circuit is used to realize frequency doubler and amplitude modulator. This multiplier is useful in communication and biomedical applications. The functionality of this multiplier is implemented in 0.18μm CMOS technology and is simulated in Cadence pspice.
