Host based detection and analysis of PII stealing trackers

Privacy is the Achilles heel of the World Wide Web. When browsing, users are consistently tracked by parties whose business builds on the value of collected data. The privacy implications are serious. This paper deals with client-side detection and analysis of PII stealing trackers deployed by third party websites to steal client's footprint and later use it for commercial purposes, for e.g., targeted adverting.
