Technical and Economic Models of Information Security

Information security (IS) has been focused by academy and industry for a long time, but the universe technical features and its economics is seldom studied. IS is studied in a universe technical and an economic perspectives respectively. In technical perspective, preventive and detective classification is presented, on the base of which three architectural models are provided, and in economic one, the characteristics of optimal investment of information system security in both preventive and detective mechanisms is derived considering the technical features and the hacker's response.
