Reduced energy consumption and cooperative load balancing via reliable routing in cluster based MANETs

Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) can be setup uniquely for a particular purpose. MANETS are mobile, free to move in any direction. They use wireless connection such as Wi-Fi or any other standard medium for connecting to other networks. Applications of MANETs are improving day by day, somaintaining the bandwidth efficiency is very important. This can be done by minimizing the energy consumption, distributing the workload across multiple nodes during non uniform load distribution and minimizing the inter packet delay variation. This intern improves the lifetime of the network. In this paper, dynamic channel allocation scheme and cooperative load balancing has been done to overcome the several fundamental issues of MANETs. Our proposed results shows that by creating optimal number of cluster using Partitioning around Medoids (PAM) algorithm, network lifetime can be improved.
