Recursive method of extracting the harmonic signal from a mixture with strong noise: Limitations and the non-uniqueness

The problem of harmonic signal allocation from a mixture with strong noise is considered. A recursive method for computing correlation functions is analyzed. Theoretical background the efficiency of the method is given. Assumptions about the method constraints and the uniqueness of results are expressed. They verified with the help of specially developed methods and computer simulation.
