Single to three phase conversion for rural power applications

A topology for power conversion from single-phase to three-phase power line is proposed. The circuit is built on three basic passive elements: capacitance, inductance and transformer. It produces well-balanced three-phase network suitable for rural power application. Initial analysis is presented in order to validate the principle of operation. Theoretical analysis is supported by simulation and experimental results, which are found to be in a very good agreement.
