One step 3D hologram master origination for security applications

Optical security is a promising technology and widely used due to their parallel and high speed processing capabilities. Holograms are widely used as one of the most trusted tools for product authentication and security. Now the demand for hologram as a security authentication tool is increasing due to its higher data density, visual appeal and cheap at the mass production. It is commonly believed that holograms cannot be counterfeited. Though, due to the revolutionary development in digital image processing technologies, it is rather easy to counterfeit the holograms that are commonly used today in security applications. But the conventional recorded 3D holograms are still are very complicated to counterfeit as it requires a certain level of expertise and non availability of digital tools. This paper describes a one step 3D hologram master origination process and its analysis.
