Voltage/frequency joint control for the restoration of loads in regional electric system

Results of studies carried out for the restoration of a set of loads in a regional transmission and sub transmission electric system are included in this paper. In order to make an automatic reconnection and to lessen the emotional tension of operators during the restorative state different automatisms were designed. These automatisms developed allow the rapid connection of loads as well as the necessary voltage and frequency adjustments to ensure the connection of each load. It is shown a voltage and frequency control system which acts jointly over various generators allowing the connection of loads without the intervention of their operators.
