Multi-bound-dependent fault-tolerant control for flexible spacecraft under partial loss of actuator effectiveness

This paper deals with the problem of fault-tolerant control (FTC) for flexible spacecraft with partial loss of actuator effectiveness and time-varying input delay. An adaptive fault-tolerant controller is designed by using the online estimation, in which an addition control term is added into the normal control law. This compensation method can reduce the fault effect and don't need the isolation mechanism and fault detection. Compared with some existing results, the designed controller is depended on time delay bound. Thus, it can not only be tolerate to the partial loss of actuator effectiveness, but also be sensitive to time delay. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed FTC scheme is verified by simulation experiments.
