Characteristic of thermal effect and current-voltage of titanium dioxide light emitting diode

Thermal effects and other properties of light emitting diode based on titanium dioxide material were successfully analyzed. Titanium dioxide has been chosen as the selected material due to its special characteristics such as excellent chemical stability, thermal stability and higher band gap energy. The main target of this work was to study the thermal effect and current-voltage characteristics towards light emitting diode performance. The highest light emitting diode temperature achieved at 6 W of power was 109 °C. The saturation of light emitting diode temperature value in this design was recorded at approximately 98 °C at 10 000 s of time. In current-voltage characteristics, the highest current was achieved at 0.13 mA and 10 V of a voltage bias. Furthermore, the characteristics of the electric field and electric potential within the device were also investigated and analyzed.
