Fuzzy logic diagnosis of the in-vitro meat inspection based on impedance spectroscopy

The main challenge in meat diagnosis is the development of an classification method able to provides information about the type and freshness of the meat. Zero-order sugeono model is selected as a classification method that provides a successful alternative for easy classification; able to generalize and to correctly classify new testing data with a high performance index of recognition equal to 100% for meat type and with high accuracy for freshness equal to 84.62% for the muscle LD (Longisimus dorsi) of beef, 92.31 % for the muscle RA (Rectus Abdominis) of beef, 100 % for the muscle (Semi-Membraneous) of SM veal and 61.54% for the muscle LD veal.
