Single-passband microwave photonic filter with ultra-high out-of-band rejection ratio

A tunable single-passband microwave photonic filter with ultra-high out-of-band rejection ratio is proposed. In experiments, a rejection ratio up to 55 dB is obtained for tunable single-passband MPF using single stage for the first time. Tunable central frequency, bandwidth, and spectral profile are demonstrated.
