Adjustable lumped impedance mismatching compensation circuit

This paper introduces and tests a compensation circuit for post fabrication impedance mismatching. Lumped components are used in this proposed circuit to balance the imaginary part of the input network. The compensation circuit is added between the transmission line and bonding wire based on the input impedance matching performance after fabrication. Simulation results by employing this technique show that S₁₁ can be calibrated back to 2.4 GHz with relatively small return loss.
