Mathematical modelling for solving boundary value problem for microwave breast screening

Phase and Magnitude variations of electric and magnetic fields at scattered microwave signals can be used to compute critical parameters of any internal scatterer within the host material. When Microwave is used for breast screening, as biological tissues have certain electrical properties such as permittivity and conductivity and these are quite dispersive in microwave frequencies andalso frequency dependent, modelling of breast with tumor like inclusions is easy in this approach. Solution to forward problem can be found constructing forward algorithm with internal tumor's unknown parameters to compute at the inverse calculations. In experimental verification of this approach with exact selection of critical frequencies in microwave range provides promising results for future front-line application of detecting a tumor using microwave measurements.
