Research on protection scheme based on the high capacity for DG interconnection with the power system

In this paper, through the discussion of the protection requirements of distributed generator (DG) interconnection, the methods of the generators' re-interconnection after protection tripping, and a large number of typical practice in engineering practice, in combination with the analysis of some atypical cases, a set of protection and management principles when the high penetration DG access to the system are provided. Taking the control and grid point PCC for protection and installation as the entry point, after fully considering the nature of DG, DG reconnection grid methods, fault after operation mode and other factors, on the premise of ensuring safe and reliable operation of the power grid, giving full consideration to the interests of the DG operators, the principles provide a complete set of clear management principles, which is a protection scheme with high capacity for DG.
