3D construction of the human spine cervical segment and statistical analysis of scientific measurement

Clinically, traditional medical spinal surgery relies too much on a doctor's personal experience, which often brings certain risks. With the development of computer CT and MRI imaging technology, 3D structure display of 3D model and quantitative research have become an important measure of scientific instruments in the medical research. The scientific measurement of the spine, as an important part of human medical measurement, has a wide range of applications in the field of physiology, clinical medicine, health care and rehabilitation. This paper, taking the medical theory of spinal column and spine as the basis and computer visualization VTK as a tool, studies the 3D rendering of the spine and makes accurate interactive measurements of the constructed model. Firstly, the author uses MC volume rendering algorithm of VTK to construct 3D model of the cervical spine segment. Secondly, for the spinal canal of 3D model, the author proposes such measurement methods as diameter line measurement, cross-sectional area measurement and volume measurement, and for geometric identification of the spine and characteristics of the model, he puts forward a new method for measuring the cross-sectional area - sub-pixel cumulative fitting measurement based on Zernike moments edge detection, and verifies the effectiveness of the method through experiments. Finally, the author makes interactive actual measurement of the samples of the case group, and carries out a certain amount of mathematical statistics and trend analysis of the measurement results, which are expected to provide relevant data basis and reference for future research in the field of spine medicine.
