Bridge Micro Doppler phenomenon analysis by using SFCW radar system

The phenomenon of railway bridge vibration is detected by SFCW radar system. The bridge Micro-Doppler (MD) signature is analyzed by joint time-frequency methods. In bridge academic area, the natural frequency of bridge itself and the resonance of the train crossing mode is important index to evaluate the quality of a bridge. It is a novel method to get the accurate frequency by using SFCW radar and advanced HHT algorithm. The bridge MD is detected by radar and the data is calculated to get the the natural frequency and the resonance of train crossing mode. This novel algorithm is proved a better solution to analyze the metro bridge Micro-Doppler phenomenon. The Wigner-Ville distribute is used to analyze the data. Meanwhile the advanced HHT provide an more accurate result as reference.
