Square-wave and PWM signal generators based on CC-CDTRA

This article presents new square wave and PWM signal generators based on CC-CDTRA (Current controlled current differencing transresistance amplifier). The oscillation frequency can be adjusted by input bias current of the CC-CDTRA. In addition, for PWM signal generator, the duty cycle of the output signal is 50% which is agree with typical applications. Furthermore, the duty cycle is linear dependent on the modulation signal. The PSpice simulation results confirm that the proposed circuit performs power consumption of 3.61mW at ±3V power supplies. Performances of the proposed circuit are confirmed, they are in accordant to theoretical explanations.
