Development of new curricula in vocational education for the needs of enterprises and employability of graduates

This paper presents an initiative of two universities two colleges and eight other training institutions for the development of an employer-driven curriculum, for the high-school learners, aged 14-19 years. The research carried out in a network of ten European countries show the needs, the possibilities and the expectations of professionals, students and employers, for the improvement of employability of graduates. The developed curriculum is profiled on ICT technology and with emphasis on the competencies that must be acquired by graduates, before joining the professional careers.
