Thermodynamics of the vortex granulator's workspace: The impact on the structure of porous ammonium nitrate

The paper deals with the results of study of producing process of porous ammonium nitrate in vortex flow and is dedicated to study of thermodynamic parameters of granulator workspace. The structure of the pores of surface of porous ammonium nitrate granules and inside it are investigated. The regularities of obtaining pores of varying configurations depending on-thermodynamic conditions of work vortex granulator are established. Obtained results also allows us to estimate the intensity of heating of workspace vortex granulator in various zones. Experiments data are the basis of optimization of selection granules humidification method (place of input of granules in granulator, area of application of humidifier, humidification method, etc).
