Improvising strategies for efficiency of IE 4 SCIM 2.2kW through simulation

As it is robust in structure & having cheap rates than other motors available in the market for the same use of application. Comparison of the IEC stds with Eff classes. Discussion of type of losses that occur in the SCIM. Discussion of the strategies that can help in improvising the efficiency levels of the SCIM to achieve IE 4 class. Implementation of improvising strategies which results into the higher efficiency class and after the implementation of the strategies results obtained from the Ansoft Maxwell software (RMxprt) and its comparison on the important operating parameters of the IE 4 class SCIM how the design parameters gets affected on changing the parameters like outer diameter of the stator and rotor, by changing the air gap within the specified range of operation for the machine, type of winding selection for the machine and type of material used for the stator/rotor, core and winding both inclusive for achieving higher efficiency class taking in account the over all performance of the machine.
