Thermo-puncture devices — mechanical and electrical concepts

Thermo-puncture is a modification of moxibustion, a concept of the traditional Chinese medicine. The heat is generated by infrared light radiating diodes. Possible mechanical designs and the concept of the system are illustrated. Simple converter structures are presented. The system is useful to treat some diseases. The control and the pulse generation of the system are explained. Two possible driver stages are discussed.
