A mathematical analysis of the effect of Hematocrit in a stenosed artery using Wilburn-Schneck model

In this presentation a mathematical model has been designed to study the effect of Hematocrit level on blood flow in an overlapping stenosed artery using Wilburn-Schneck model. The constitutive equations are solved analytically using the boundary conditions to obtain expressions for different parameters such as flow rate, resistance to flow and skin-friction. An extensive quantitative analysis has been carried out by performing large scale numerical computation of the flow variables having physiological and rheological significance. Variations of the flow parameters are then analysed graphically with relevant scientific discussion. Finally the use of the model is justified by comparing the results with the previous presentations.
