A coherent signal processing method for distributed radar system

The signal coherent fusion of multiple radars combined with multiple pulses coherent integration can effectively improve the detection performance and recognition ability in the low signal to noise ratio (SNR) environment. Furthermore, the widely distributed sensors can use the target spatial diversity and against slow fluctuations of the target radar cross section (RCS). The difficulty of the signal coherent fusion is that the signals received by distributed sensors are uncorrelated. This paper focuses on the signal coherent fusion in the case of the target spatial diversity. Based on the use of reference distance matching preprocessing in the target areas, the incoherent error model of distributed radar is established with Doppler shift. Then the method for solving incoherent parameter of the error model is given, and the accuracy of incoherent parameter estimation under different SNR is analyzed. The validity of this method is verified by theoretical analysis and simulation experiments.
