Detecting and preventing intrusion in multi-tier web applications using double guard

In present day's computer and internet become an inextricable part in human life which enables online transactions more effective. Servers play a vital role in online transactions. Due to increased use of application and data complexity servers has extended to multi-tiered architecture which consists of database server or file server. Thus data present in various servers needs more security to avoid hacking or stealing or misusing of data through different types of attacks. Here we have designed Double Guard intrusion detection system to detect and prevent attacks from both webserver and back-end servers by continuous observation of front-end and database server. In our proposed model we used java and apache webserver to implement Double Guard detection and preventing attacks.
