Abstract:

CBSE (Components based Software Engineering) rely on the reusability of elements. The task of interface between elements is very significant. When interface between the elements boost-up then reliability is also enhances. In CBSE, reusable elements cooperate with each other and perform an essential task to appraise Component Based System (CBS) reliability. More interface between reusable components, provides better and effectively estimation of reliability. The soft computing methods like Genetic Algorithm, Fuzzy Logic, Artificial Neural Network, swarm optimization techniques (ACO, PSO) etc. helps in estimating and predicting distinctive parameter for assessment of CBS reliability in capable means. CBSE metrics may be utilized for evaluate various soft computing methods. This article presents evaluation of PSO with CBSE metrics that support PSO. The evaluation is done on MATLAB 14. Results demonstrate that when PSO with new fitness function is simulated with CBSE metrics then interaction rate increases at same time delay between components reduces.
