Electromagnetic Field at the Center of a Point Symmetric and Axially Symmetric Penetrable Structure

A structure made of penetrable media whose boundaries and material properties are both point symmetric and axially symmetric is analyzed in the phasor domain, when illuminated by a circular array of radiators. A theorem on the field at the center of the structure is given, a particular configuration is studied in detail, and potential applications to material characterization and biomedicine are mentioned.
