Canonical form variable structure control systems

This paper shows how a canonical system and problem description can simplify the design and the analysis procedure of variable structure control systems (VSCS). Some of the fundamental restrictions and interdependences of VSCS are shown and a straightforward method of design and analysis is introduced.
