Gain and H-plane beamwidth stabilized millimeter wave horn antenna

A millimeter wave horn antenna operating between 18 GHz and 45 GHz with stable nominal gain of 16.1±0.5 dBi, consistent half-power beamwidth about 30⁰, and VSWR less than 2 is designed. Studies are conducted to determine the impact each structural parameter of the antenna has on its far- and near-field performance. The manufacturing constraints associated with the CNC machining and 3-D printing are heavily weighted in the design process thus making this antenna practically realizable.
