The nature of pyroelectricity in polyvinylidene fluoride at low temperatures

The dynamic pyroelectric response in PVF2 in the low temperature range of −55°C to −10°C, which includes the αa-relaxation of the polymer, is of dipolar origin and it arises from reorientation of the non-permanent dipoles in the amorphous phase.
