TSC due to space charge in polyvinylidene fluoride

Unstretched and uniaxially stretched PVOF showed TSC peaks due to space charge above room temperature. The TSC results revealed that the space charge was positive homo space charge injected from the anode. The space charge was found to play an important role in the piezoelectricity of PVOF. The high field conduction of PVOF was strongly modified by homo space charge which suppressed the hole injection.
