Time dependence of the loss tangent of dielectrics under simultaneous action of ac and dc voltages

The investigation of the dielectric properties is generally performed using either ac or dc voltages. As the ac and dc properties often differ significantly, it is of practical importance to study the properties under simultaneous action of both ac and dc voltages. Little research has been devoted to the study of this problem.¹
