Research on parallel algorithms for calculating static characteristics of electromagnetic relay

The approach on parallelization is studied in the paper in order to improve the calculation efficiency, calculation mode of static characteristics of the relay, and scalability of algorithms on more complex issues and larger numerical issues. For the clapper-type relay, we establish its physical and mathematical model. Then propose a modified formula of Amdahl's law to assess the effectiveness of the algorithm, giving the theoretical value of calculation effectiveness. Finally we do parallelization design to original algorithm, by comparing the efficiency of serial and parallel algorithms, we can verify the superiority and feasibility of parallelization in practical application, and reflect the importance and necessity of research and development for parallelization.
