Experimental studies on solar dehydrator, greenhouse dehydrator and open drying

The present scenario of drying applications has contributed the emerging trends in the field of science and technology. The conventional drying systems have good proven results but at higher energy cost. The alternative means of drying system is the application of solar energy, which yields better results at the very low cost of energy. There is a need to develop the solar systems to achieve the sustainable development in case of drying applications. The presented work reports on the behavioral characteristics of solar dehydrator and greenhouse dehydrator as compared to open drying of green grapes and chilies.
