Design of inverse response compensator for complex process

In present analysis, based on different tuning techniques for first order plus dead time process (FOPDT) are designed for Pade's approximation of the time delay. The PID controller is used for obtaining the response of the system. The obtained inverse response is compensated by applying inverse response compensator based on the general concept of Smith predictor. The response of the system is compared after the compensator is implemented.
