Analysis of online training system using Ranti's generic IS/IT business value and economic value added (Case study: Bank Rakyat Indonesia)

High cost of transportation and accomodation, not effective at performance and not efficient of using working hours and low rate of training frequency are some problems caused by conventional education and training system. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) plans to take an investment online training system to improve performance effectiveness, education cost efficiency and working hours efficiency through a transition from conventional system to education and training system. From the research result, it can be concluded that implementation of online training system could increase performance effectiveness and cost efficiency by reducing cost of education and training, improving productivity caused by ease of analysis and increasing revenue caused by widening market statement with total cost of benefit are 39.033.822.000 IDR and economic value added are 29.288.848.720 IDR.
