A new kind integrated environment control plan for the secondary equipment terminal box in substation

It is a harsh operating environment for the outdoor substation secondary equipment terminal box in its long-term worktime. Condensation often can be found inside it due to the climatic cause. This may lead to insulation performance of the secondary equipment degrading or lead to the devices rusting, molding and even more explosive precedent, resulting in secondary equipment damage, DC grounding, structural jamming, protection device tripping mistake and other issues, bring a serious threat to the safe operation of the power grid. By studying the operating environment of outdoor secondary equipment terminal box in substation, and analyzing the defects of existing control method, a new kind of integrated control plan is proposed in the paper, which can provide a theoretical basis for the substation to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the secondary terminal box, and to protect the safe operation of the power grid.
