Designing of macro-femto heterogeneous network for improving energy efficiency of cellular system

The fundamental way to reduced the power required for the radio transmission in the cellular mobile system is to reduced the distance between transmitter and receiver. This paper analyses the influence of deploying macro-femto heterogeneous networks. We proposed a methodology to implement the macro-femto heterogeneous network to make it heterogeneous network in true sense. It also studies the impacts of using proposed methodology on the energy consumed per bit for carrying out the communication between end users. The proposed system topology generates the results which indicate that the potential advantage of macro-femto heterogeneous which can contribute to improve energy efficiency by reducing the distance between the access points and the end users.
