Study of remote monitoring system of working states of metro door system

With the continuous development of society in the recent years, rail traffic has been getting great development and application. As key components of rail traffic, the reliability of metro door system makes great influences on people's safely taking subway. However, in the traditional post maintenance or planned maintenance methods, there are a series of shortcomings like high cost, time consuming, low efficiency, weak pertinence, inappropriate maintenance and so on. So the traditional maintenance method cannot meet the requirements of the real-time monitoring of the running state of the door system. Monitoring the working states of metro door system in real time and predicting faults have a more realistic significance of research. Therefore, a set of remote monitoring system for the running state of the train door system was developed by using LabVIEW. Firstly, the overall design scheme was proposed, and the characteristic parameters that can fully characterize the running state of door system were determined. Secondly, the improved hardware structure of the system were designed in detail in order to realize the function of on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis of the whole door system. Then, related sensors and data acquisition device were reasonably selected and installed and a data acquisition platform for the parameters of the working state of the door system was set up to reasonably collect the parameters that can fully describe the running state of the door system. In order to achieve good remote communication requirements, the remote online monitoring software system of door system was designed based on B/S and C/S mode. Systems of data acquisition and remote monitor of working states for metro door system were lastly developed to easily view data or diagnose faults for engineers, especially for remote experts. Experiments showed that the running performance of both data acquisition and remote monitoring was quite good, which met the initial requirements of the project. At the same time, the system could provide the feedback of the working state of the door system and the maintenance suggestion before the happening of failure, and the incidence of failure could be greatly reduced, in addition, the corresponding historical data could also be viewed, which had a certain engineering application.
