Research on feedforward dynamic matrix control of a four-stabilizer fin system

The stabilization effect of the four-stabilizer fin system was severely affected by the hydrodynamic disturbance which caused by the fore fins. To solve this problem, feedforward dynamic matrix control algorithm is utilized to compensate and control the back fin servo system, and dynamic matrix control is applied to track and predict the change of the lift force of the fore fin system. In the meantime, the difference between the lift force of the fore fin and the back fins is used as feedforward compensation to control the rotation angle of the back fins. Simulation results show that the feedforward dynamic matrix compensation control can not only weaken the anti-rolling influence of the fore fins on the back fins, but also can compensate for the anti-rolling loss of the system. The comprehensive anti-rolling performance can be improved significantly.
