Development of a CMOS driving circuit with compensation function for gyroscope applications

In this paper, a CMOS driving circuit with compensation function for gyroscope applications is newly proposed. Associating with closed-loop driving circuits, the compensation technique is proposed mainly to maintain the stability of gyroscope when it is possibly operated under extreme environment. After performing the proposed compensation technique, this problem coming from stability can largely be improved. The maximum oscillation frequency of this work is up to 70 kHz, and the chip area is 1.42 × 1.42 mm². This proposed chip is suitable for devices of monitoring or maintaining orientation.
