Laboratory setup for microgrid study

The paper presents laboratory setups established at Politehnica University of Timisoara (PUT), used for researches in the field of hybrid conversion system for renewable energies of small power integrated into microgrids. The researches are performed within the frame of a research grant entitled MICROREN (grant type — Partnerships in Priority Areas — PN II). The modular experimental setups were used for different studies, measurements and/or validation of control strategies for the microgrid components. There are presented the structures, testing and validation issues of the individual experimental setups (components of the hybrid micro grid).
