Latent variable techniques based operating performance assessment for the dense medium coal preparation process

In the process of heavy medium coal preparation, the control of the density and rheological properties of heavy medium suspension is a key issue for the improvement of the comprehensive economic efficiency of enterprise. In order to timely and accurately grasp the dense medium coal preparation process, a latent variable techniques (Total Kernel Partial Least Squares, T-KPLS) based online operating performance assessment method is employed in this paper. First of all, the T-KPLS algorithm is used to establish the evaluation model of the coal preparation process, and then the corresponding assessment strategy is used to evaluate the operating performance of the process, and the non-optimal causes of the dense medium coal preparation process are identified based on the evaluation results. Finally, the results of simulation analysis can be drawn that the T-KPLS algorithm is effective and practical to evaluate the operation state of dense medium coal preparation process.
