Observer-based fault detection for affine nonlinear systems with disturbances and uncertainties

This paper is concerned with the integrated design schemes of L₂ observer-based fault detection (FD) systems for affine nonlinear processes with disturbances and uncertainties, respectively. To this end, a so called L₂ observer-based FD scheme is studied first. Then, the integrated design approaches for nonlinear systems with disturbances and uncertainties are addressed, respectively. In the end, examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.
