Generalized wide band circuit model for a centered transverse slot between two gap waveguides

A wide band circuit model for a centered transverse slot in the thin common wall between two ridge gap waveguides is developed to predict the S-parameters response of the 4-port network. Empirical formulas are developed for the length and width of the slot to be used in calculating the S-parameters of the structure and designing the Ridge Gap Waveguide slot for a desired response.
