IEC/TC 49's International Standardization activities on quartz crystal devices

International Standards are becoming significantly important for worldwide trading. IEC/TC49 is developing the technical standards for piezoelectric, dielectric and electrostatic devices for frequency control, selection and detection, which technologies are very strongly related with FCS. This paper introduces IEC/TC49's organization and its activities.
