Two-dimensional interleaver for holographic data storage systems

Holographic data storage (HDS) has good characteristics of high recording density, fast transfer rate, and short access time. On the other hand, it has several problems such as inter-symbol interference, inter-page interference, and burst error. In this paper, we propose a two-dimensional interleaving scheme to resolve the burst error problem of HDS. Also, we use a parity check product code for understanding the performance of the proposed interleaver.
