Automotive Electronics In Passenger Cars

As in other industries, the application and impact of electronics have tremendously improved the function of automobiles. The application of electronic technology has provided higher performance, added convenience, more comfort, and greater safety for automobiles, in the areas of basic automotive functions, such as traveling, turning, and stopping, and in the other areas of display, convenience, entertainment and communication with society, etc. This report summarizes the current overview and future perspective in automotive electronics. Through the technologies of Toyota experimental vehicle, the FXV-II, this report enphasises that the keywords for the advanced technology in automotive electronics are "Integration', "Communication' and 'Intelligence".
